They first started out producing bricks to help rebuild structures damaged by the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, under the name Haeger Brick and Tile Company. This lasted for about 30 years until 1914, when they turned their attention to making artware, under the direction of Edmund Haeger. Martin Stangl was one of their first designers, working on Arts & Crafts style wares.
During the 1934 World’s Fair, they had an actual working factory setup, introducing customers to some of the products Haeger made.
In 1938, they introduced the Royal Haeger line in honor of one of their designers, Royal Arden Hickman. It was also the year Edmund Haeger’s son-in-law, Joseph Estes, was promoted to general manager.
In 1947, Eric Olsen joined the company, introducing the Diamond Jubilee line. It was 1950’s modern decor, with figural lamps, mystic priests and more.
Today, Haeger Pottery is still in operation today making lamp bases and florist wares, under the direction of Joseph Estes’ daughter, Alexandra Haeger Estes.

I have two pale pink Haeger bowls, model #220 – that form being variously described as a fruit bowl, serving bowl, or part of a pitcher/water bowl dressing-table set in online search results – none of which have been pink themselves.
One is mint condition, and the other has a “Second Quality” label, presumably occasioned by a slight+short hairline crack and some minor dark mottling spots in the glaze (along one lip for ~2″ and in the convolutions of the ornamentation at one end – this one was also originally bought for $12 from the makers, under a “2nd Quality Royal(?)” price tag (removed in cleaning – I don’t think either bowl was ever in actual use).
I’d like some information as to what prices can be asked for these before attempting to sell them either to a professional dealer or on local-community sites.
I found a Royal Haeger vase at a thrift store. It is two fish side to side, with an area behind them to place flowers. The markings on the bottom read Royal Haeger for Royal Hickman, and its #270. Any info you can offer (Year of production, value, etc.) is appreciated
Correction: the candle sticks are number 315.
I have a Royal Haeger 306 bowl and two 316 candle sticks with exterior finish of greenish blister like surface. I would appreciate any information you can provide as well as value. These were donated to our church for fund raising efforts. Would like to sell at our auction or on line. Thank you for your help. Blessings, Ed

There was a Hagaer pottery plant located
at Macomb, Illinois. They also had a nice
Showroom there. I loved to look at the large displays of pottery there. My husband was a student at Western Illinois University. He worked at the Hagaer pottery plant as a maintence worker. I have a large blue planter vase that I purchased in Macomb, Illinois years ago.

It also has sticker, HAEGER floral, etc and another that reads 2012 , I think. Maybe u all can give me some info, when it was made, $, where it was made exactly. Thk u for ur time, God Bless u all 😊

I have a Haeger pot with a paper label that says #4421 and copyright 1989. It is not glazed and has primitively figures on it. What can you tell me about it?
Thanks
I have a vase that I became owner of in about 1980. It has your company sticker on it. It is a gold vase and has a 22 carat gold sticker on it as well. I would like to know if this is true gold, embellished, electroplated or what? I will be happy to send a picture of it if this would assist you in your determination.
Thank you for your assistance.
Regards – Donna Scheurer
I have a red rooster with the marking Royal Haeger USA; it’s almost twenty one inches tall and has green accents; my Mother aquired it in the fifties and I would like to know what it’s worth.
I have a red Buddha. Looks like red glaze. In the bottom signed Royal Haeger on the bottom left it says R694 and on the right side it’s marked USA. I found a photo of the same one on the internet it says it was designed by Eric Olsen.
My friend has an ivory vase stamped with Haeger USA and what looks like a little copyright symbol next to the USA. There is no number. What year approximately would this have been made? Is it before 1938 since it doesn’t have a Royal Haeger mark? What would the approximate value of the vase be? It is about 9 inches tall, octagonal in shape with a fluted opening, and no imperfections. It narrows at the base and then widens in the same octagonal pattern. Thank you in advance for getting back to me as soon as possible.
found 2 pieces , 1 large fluted opening, 1 small smaller vase. i recognized as Haeger as I have the candy dish with the lid, same white rough finish. on the bottom of the candy dish royal haeger is raised in the lettering. on the bottom of these 2 vases, they are signed HAEGER S. MAGLIO. looking on the internet very few signed maglio pieces, not these 2 matching vases. bought at a salvation army in Rockford, Illinois. Looking for approx value and or contact of who might be interested in purchasing. thank you.
I have my mom’s green bowl and pitcher # 4060 and #4058. Can you tell me the year it was made and the value?
Thank you.
I have a tall vase R1752 and I wonder what year it was made and if it was rare. It is cream colar inside and the outside if aqua with cream color nubbing.

I have a green Haeger bowl with the markings, Haeger 3833 10″ USA . I am wondering if it is safe to bake food in?
I have come across, in my attic, a lovely green haeger bowl. It is 6″x18″ with sloped ends. I have used it in the past for flowers, but know actually know what it is called or originally used for. The number on the bottom is 370. What is it called and what may it be worth? I love it and don’t want to sell, but would like to know the value all the same.
Thank you.
I, sorry, in my comment August 19, 2015 @ 5:57 CST I fail to mention the bouquet’s are of stems of roses, pitcher 2 roses, bowl larger with 3 roses. Also my spelling of archive. Again thank you.
I have a a pitcher and bowl Haeger- bottom of pitcher has Haeger in blue, USA #213, bowl has inset hexagon indention in the bottom that the hexagon base of the pitcher exactly fits, bottom of bowl has the copyright of Heager, below that Heager in caps and below that the number 214-USA. In my research I think it might have been made around the time of WWII. I don’t know if the blue print on the pitcher indicates it is from the Royal line introduced in 1938. Size: pitcher 7 1/4 across 9 in. tall, hexagon base; bowl 4 in debt, 9 1/4 in. across. It is heavy. The bowl has a roll edge. Cream in color with bouquet on two sides of bowl and pitcher’s bouquet also on two sides, but somewhat smaller. I would be so appreciative if you could direct me to an historical achieve or give me information as to value. I have had it in my possession for approximately 50 years.
If an email is sent, how long can I expect to it to be before I receive a reply?

Thank you so much!
I just acquired a large blue speckled Haeger USA 4295 bowl and pitcher at an auction, it is in excellent condition and I am trying to find out what value if any it has.
I have3 planters by Haeger. Oval green # 40208, lime green rectangle #3846, smaller rectangle green # 3878. Are these of any value ?
I would like to find out how much my piece is worth….how do I go about doing that?
when was my Haeger green 4070 vase likely made?
I have a 3 tiered planter/server with the number 3833 on the bottom of each bowl, followed it looks like the bowl size. Each bowl is about 3.5″ deep and are 6″, 8″ & 10″ wide at the top edge. The 3 tiers are supported through the centers with a “brass” rod that finishes as spokes at the round base. The color is probably a medium leaf green, a little on the olive side. I would like to have the value, and I am interested is selling.
Thank you,
Pat

I have a Royal Haeger green duck planter with what I think is an ID number 8945 on the bottom. How much is this worth? I have tried researching this item but cannot find anything. Thank you,
Nancy Samoraj

I have a very large planter that I purchased at a auction a couple of years ago. I am unable to find anything that looks like it. It is 16 1/2 inches tall, 16 1/2 inches across the top. The pattern is kind of like a basket but yet not. Top is brown then blue then a brown lace valance type look then blue again, brown the brown with white. Has a leaf patterned roller stand with it. I do have some pictures I could try to send. It also has the name S. Maglio and a Large number 1 on the bottom along with the Haeger name. Thank you
Im cleaning out my moms house she passed away recently and came across a hexagon shape pottery planter/bowl with the diamond pattern. Cream in color. Has the 3 hole markings on bottom for the glazing and a carved out 6 with a stamp “Haeger USA and looks like #793. I am wondering approximately what year this came from or its worth. Thanks so much if you can help me.
