Joseph Johnson Watches

Joseph Johnson (died 1827) was a watchmaker from Liverpool, England. He started making watches in the early 1800’s until the mid 1800’s. He invented many design improvements for the pocket watch and also watch movement. His company made low to medium priced key-wind watches for the United States and were typically used by the U.S. railroads.
