Tiffin Glass Company was founded in 1892, in Tiffin, Ohio, by A.J. Beatty & Sons. They started out as part of the U.S. Glass Company of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1892.

Tiffin produced a wide range of glassware, stemware, candlesticks and much more. One of the most popular patterns produced was Black Satin, made from 1923 until 1926. It featured raised floral designs usually found on vases.

Tiffin plant employess purchased U.S. Glass Company when they went bankrupt in 1963 and changed the name to Tiffin Art Glass Company. In 1966, it was sold to Continental Can Company. It was sold again in 1969 to Interpace. In 1979, they were purchased by Towle Silversmiths and operated as Tiffin Crystal, a division of Towle, until they closed down for good in 1984.

I have a set of Tiffin Franciscan Valencia Green stem 14188 champagne/sherbet glasses. Can you tell me what caret gold the trim is on the rim of the glass? Thanks.

my grandfather FRED WINDSTINE was at tiffin for years. he has given my daughters cut dinner plates 12 to a cut each i do not know how many are in there all having diches plates each there also water cut glasses and wine cut glasses included i would want to know cash would be given for it. contact me at my phone number 863 605 8911 florida

I have several gold trimmed glasses that have a pattern that I am unable to find if it even is Tiffin or another name. I think they are cordial glasses and a larger water glass? How to I find out who made them and their value?
