Klaxon Horns

Klaxon horns are mechanical horns that are mainly used on cars, trains and ships. Klaxon horns were first made popular by Model T Fords in the early 1900’s and were also used as submarine dive alarms during World War II. They were first used on cars and bicycles in 1908 powered by a 6-volt battery and later in 1911 by rechargeable batteries. Vintage Klaxon horns are very collectible today.

    Hi, I have a Klaxen ‘Klaxet’ 12V. Ref. No. K/103350. There is some age corrosion on the end of the trumpet and it works.
    Can you advise how much it might be worth?
